Efco A tough, hard-wearing machine, the Efco AR-53-TBX Aluminium-Deck Lawnmower is powered a Briggs & Stratton 'Quantum' engine which is fitted with a newly developed carburettor and a high-tension coil - these combine to reduce starting difficulties by 30 percent. Conversion to mulching mode is simple and quick. With the factory-supplied mulch plug inserted, clippings are held under the deck, where they are finely chopped before being evenly spread across the lawn. At this point the clippings rapidly decompose, becoming a superb, nutrient rich fertiliser. The TBX is a self-propelled machine and is equipped with a special rubber handgrip for maximum comfort, while its ball-bearing wheels ensure smooth operation and help to extend service-life. The cutting height is infinitely variable and is adjusted via a centralised mechanism.
